Merry December! We hope you all are feeling the festive spirit, and if you are feeling a little weird about the season for any reason we get that too! We sometimes think about the “unexpected” things that can happen in our lives… We are walking in one direction and something gets thrown at us. This could be a loss of a loved one, change of jobs, friendships change, navigating hurt feelings.. At CHAOS we are finishing the year with the series “Worst Christmas Ever”... We take the story of Mary and Joseph and talk about how their lives changed very unexpectedly, but God was right there with them.. And turned what might have felt as the "worst Christmas ever" to being the very thing this world needs... Jesus.
FOOD FOR THE HUNGRY: With this season, we as CHAOS want to give back. So, we have chosen to start supporting a child from Mozambique. This is a country that we have helped in the past, and also continuously have a relationship with some of the communities. Through this program we will be helping a child receive an education, support for the family, and pen pal communication. We are super excited about it! We need $456 to support our new friend for a whole year! That is pretty cool. That means if everyone brings at least $3 we have already reached the goal. Of course, we encourage everyone to give as they feel led to! Kids can bring it tomorrow or next week! Then we hope to learn who our child will be.
CHAOS Christmas Party 12/14 - 🎄🎁 Our Christmas party for the end of the year! All wear your favorite Christmas outfit (ugly sweaters for us!) We will be celebrating, playing games, and hearing a message about how Jesus did some unexpected things for this season.. This will be the last CHAOS before returning in January.
