CHAOS
IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:
- DISCIPLINE: CHAOS exists to help create space for Jesus to transform the lives of Junior High Students. To continue to do that to the best of our abilities -- we have implemented a plan to help with discipline at CHAOS. Click HERE for more info!
- LOVE BOXES: Our mission project this fall is to help provide Love Boxes for Cedar Valley Angels -- an organization that walks alongside foster care families. Your student may have been assigned a specific item in small group OR feel free to purchase any of the items listed (Due Nov 11): Diapers (size 1-6), Baby Wipes, Baby Formula, Plain underwear (boys/girls xs - large), Kids socks (kids - teenagers), Twin size bedding, Pillow, Plain pillow case, School supplies (multiple grade levels), Notebooks, pencils, calculator, folders etc, Gift Cards any places: Aldi, Walmart, Target
- EMOTION WHEEL: Recently we have been using THIS tool as we have conversations with students & leaders. We wanted to pass it along as we think it’s a valuable resource for YOU as parents. We are cheering you on as you navigate hard decisions & convos with your students.
- LAST CHAOS of 2020: We have made the decision that November 18 will be the last CHAOS of 2020 and we will start again January 20! This is mostly due to our college-age volunteers not being in the area. Stay turned for other events & opportunities during this time!

- All high school students are welcome!
- Nikki Pauli will be kicking our new teaching series “Vibes.” Our emotions can easily become the driving force in our lives. But because of Jesus, guilt doesn’t have to become the boss of your life!
- Doors open at 6:30 pm, large group seating starts at 6:50 pm
- Family groups meet after large group programming

- Kristina McBurney will be talking about envy in the second week of our “Vibes” teaching series
UPCOMING EVENTS
- Power Hour lunch, this Friday November 6th at Nazareth Lutheran Church. Power Hour lunch is a free meal for Cedar Falls high school students during their lunch period.
- We will be eating in Bethel Hall-please wear a mask!
COVID Guidelines:
- We will be wearing masks while indoors
- We will seat students in the Community Center and ask that students social distance in groups of people that they are already connected with outside of BIGhouse
- We ask that once students are shown to their seat that they stay in their seat and do not move any chairs for the duration of large group programming
